Description:

This patient was a 51 year old Black female, presenting to the office with laxity of the skin of the arms after weight loss and neck, back and shoulder pain from enlarged breasts. Examination was notable for marked skin laxity of the arms and enlarged and ptotic breasts that descended down to below the level of her waist. At surgery, the arms were reduced by the technique described by Jean Francios Pascale of Lyon, France. The arms were reduced to a normal size. The breasts were reduced by a wide inferior pedicle with extensive suturing of the pedicle to the pectoralis facsia to stablize its position. Post op, the appearance of the arms and abdomen are greatly improved.
