The patient at the time of her presentation, was a 40 year old Black female, presenting to the clinic with the complaints of extreme laxity of the abdomen with pannus formation. These two complaints were confirmed on examination along with bilateral hip depressions at the level of the greater trochanter of the femur and increased adiposity of the back, especially the lower back. At surgery, 800 mls were liposuctioned from the back and 1400 from the abdomen and flanks. A double layer repair of the diastasis recti was done and the excess skin of the abomen was removed and closed in three layers. Fat grafting to the hip depressions were also done; 160 mls on the left and 140 mls on the right. Post op the patient was very pleased with her new abdomen and hips.
