Description:

The patient is a 54-year-old Caucasian male presenting to the clinic with enlarged ptotic breasts after massive weight loss. Examination of the patient was notable for ptotic breasts with redundant skin and subcutaneous tissue. At surgery an inferior dermoglandular pedicle was created and a large amount of skin and subcutaneous tissue was excised. The suture line was at the base of the breast so that no scar crossed the breast itself. The patient had sensate nipples at the conclusion of the procedure.
