This patient was a 39 year old Hispanic female, presenting to the clinic with complaints of small breasts and excess skin and fatty tissue of the abdomen. Examination of the breasts showed them to be of modest size but not ptotic. The abdomen was notable for excess skin, a 3 fingerbreadth diastasis recti. with fat deposition on the flanks. At surgery, her breasts were augmented by the no-touch technique with 325 cc moderate profile implants. A lipoabdominplasty was done to the abdomen with a double layer repair of the diastasis recti and a triple layer closure of the lower abdominal flap. The flap was a couple of cm shy on length and a short vertical scar was incorporated into the closure to avoid excess tension on the closure. The patient was very happy with the results and has been a long term patient of the clinic.
