Description:

The patient was a 29-year-old Hispanic female presenting to the office with complaints of redundancy of the skin of the stomach and a midline vertical scar from C-section. Examination was notable for extensive striae, mild to moderate degree of redundancy of the abdominal skin and a midline abdominal scar. The patient underwent liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in which a total of 1200 cc of fat was removed. We were able to remove all of the excess skin and the vertical scar from her abdome and leave a low horizontal scar easily covered by bikini. A 3 cm diastases recti was repaired. This shrinked her waistline 2 inches. The patient was extremely happy with the results.
